Hokema Kalimbas

The warm, soft and gently relaxing sounds of the Kalimbas and Sansulas are harmonious in and of themselves, as well as when accompanying other instruments. Anyone can immediately sit down and play the handy Kalimba or Sansula. The pre-tuned scales create wonderful and enchanting melodies.

Our Kalimbas are listed in their factory tuning at 440Hz, but they can be retuned to different scales or to 432Hz upon request. Simply leave a note in the checkout field, and we’ll be happy to accommodate your tuning preference for an additional charge of $9.50.

What about the Hokema Kalimbas?

We currently have a 3–4 month supply of Hokema Kalimbas and will maintain current pricing during that time. Once restocking is needed, pricing may be adjusted depending on the tariff situation and euro/dollar exchange rate.

HOKEMA Kalimbas has stood for high-quality musical instruments since 1985.

We offer three different Kalimba models.

  1. Kalimbas - a block of cherrywood with different numbers stainless steel tines. From 5 tines to 17 tines. Each model comes in its own default tunning.
  2. Electro Kalimbas : Our most popular Kalimba models with a building pickup so you can connect them to your amplifier.
  3. Sansulas which have our Kalimba block mounted on a drum frame. Available in different materials and different number of tines.
