How to Tune a Hokema Kalimba

Hokema Kalimba tuning tool and tines

Tuning your Hokema Kalimba is simple with the right tool and a little practice. Use our Hokema Tuning Tool to gently push the tines in or out to raise or lower the pitch. The tuning tool features an indented tip that grips the tine securely so it won't slip when you tap it with a small hammer.

What You'll Need

  • Hokema Tuning Tool
  • Small hammer or mallet
  • A chromatic tuner app (or tune by ear)
