The best kind of DRONES are musical drones - Watch this video of the International Drone Day Celebration in Marlboro, New York featuring our instruments
Why do we drone?
To awaken tiny vibrations in our skin and between all our bones...
As part of International Drone Day this past June, our friend Katie Down, LCAT, MT-BC, MMT, MM & Friends organized a day of performances in Marlborough, New York. In this video clip you can see and hear portions of what was a 20-minute live drone performance featuring WE PLAY WELL TOGETHER instruments: a feeltone Monolina Monochord and a Metal Sounds Spacedrum Evolution Handpan
- along with other classical, sound therapy and experimental instruments including crystal singing bowls, crystal pyramid, gongs, drums, cello, guitar, synth, flute, and more.

What Is Drone Day?
An annual celebration of drone, community, and experimental sounds! Drone Day was dreamed by MCLF of Weird Canada and vibrated into existence by communities and droners around the world. Everyone is welcome to organize or attend. It takes place the third Saturday of May every year. Places where droning can take place: in a park, under a bridge, on the beach, on a roof, in the record store, online, in a cave, under your bed... Gather and drone with friends, with the public, or alone (though you are never truly alone in the drone)
