New: Koshi Earth Symphony

The newest Koshi collection replaces the bamboo body with natural wood. Each Earth Symphony chime has 12 hand-tuned steel rods inside a resonance chamber of walnut, oak, cherry or maple, and each wood gives its own tonal character. The Earth Symphony has its own tuning, separate from the classic Koshi chimes. Each chime is lovely on its own, and the four are designed to sound beautifully together as a set, all sharing a 440 Hz reference tuning.

Classic Koshi chimes

The original Koshi chimes use eight tuned steel rods in a bamboo chamber, handcrafted at the foot of the French Pyrenees. Choose Ignis (G major), Aqua (D minor), Aria (A minor), Terra (C major), or the set of four.

The classic Koshi chimes are part of our color-matched Intuitive Soundscapes: pair one with a matching Zaphir chime or Hokema kalimba in our Twinkle Duos and Trios.

Hold a chime by its cord and move it gently, or hang it where a breeze can play it. For safety, keep chimes out of reach of children under three years old.
