Marina Perdos was our special guest in March 2025 as part of our Monochord Monday Meetup series, joining us live from Ohio.
Marina spent decades in nursing β working in emergency rooms and hospice β and is a trained practitioner of many alternative healing modalities. In this session, she shares a playing technique she originally developed for the Monolini to double the playing face of the overtone strings and compensate for its smaller size. As it turns out, this technique works beautifully on the larger Monolina too β and produces an incredible bilateral self-soothing effect.
