Shelly Reef is brining feeltone Monochords to the Shift Network!

Shelly Reef is brining feeltone Monochords to the Shift Network!

Shelly Reef is the founder of an original training for Therapy Harp - in which she also includes feeltone monochords. She's developed a unique way of playing the it which is ideal for when you want to combine monochord with other instruments such as the therapy harp.

In contrast to the "Flying Sound Carpet" (which is a 2-handed technique we teach in our official feeltone trainings), Shelly plays the monochord one-handed on the side so the other hand is freed up to play harps and crystal singing bowls.

This is the perfect playing technique for anyone wanting to learn how to play monochord at the same time as other intuitive instruments!

Shelly was a guest on our Monochord Monday Meetup on Monday, July 20th, during which she shared about her sound journey starting with crystal singing bowls that led to therapy harps and then the monochord. She shares about the power of "holding Theta space" and then offers us a lovely demonstration of her sideways monochord playing technique layered gorgeously with therapy harp and bowls.

We're thrilled that Shelly is now is featuring the feeltone Monochords in her upcoming live course featured on the Shift network! The staff of WE PLAY WELL TOGETHER will be joining Shelly for this 7 week adventure - and we invite you to join us too...
