Sounding the Equinox: Live Meditation Concert with Monochords

Sounding the Equinox — live sound meditation concert with feeltone monochords

Sounding the Equinox

Sound meditation facilitator Joule L'Adara hosted a free live online sound ceremony honoring the moment of seasonal change at the Autumn Equinox — a time to pause, find grounding, and come into balance through vocal sounding and therapeutic instruments.

Joule L'Adara playing feeltone monochords

Joule played her collection of eight feeltone monochords alongside other therapeutic instruments — tongue drums, handpan, and kalimba — while guiding participants through a vocal activation and release ritual. The event offered deep listening, intention setting, and an introduction to participatory vocal sound practices that bring about internal states of balance, flow, and well-being.

For best sound, headphones are strongly recommended when listening to monochord recordings.
