About This Video Series
Sound Artist Joule L'Adara has served as Creative and Community Director of We Play Well Together since 2020. In this video series, Joule offers an in-depth look at our Intuitive Soundscapes Collections — curated sets of intuitively played instruments from our artisan builders, all tuned to play together in the same key.
This series covers who these instruments are for, how they can be used, and what makes each collection unique.
Video 1: Instrument Tour — D-Minor Collection (10 min)
Joule leads you through each instrument in the D-Minor Collection — all tuned to a D-Minor scale — demonstrating how they layer together with their different timbres and textures. She plays each instrument individually while sharing how it might be used in sound meditation, therapy, or artistic practice.

Video 2: Solo Playing Demonstration (4 min)
In this shorter video, Joule demonstrates how a solo sound artist or practitioner can layer the D-Minor Collection instruments together — building sounds on top of the Monolina D drone, and showing how voice can be woven in at the end.
Video 3: All About the Intuitive Soundscapes Collections (8 min)
In this final video, Joule gives a thorough overview of the Intuitive Soundscapes Collections concept — applicable to all keys and collections in the series. She covers:
