A Spaziergang through the feeltone Workshop where Monochords are built in Northern Germany

We were recently at the feeltone Headquarters and made a video for our Monochod Superfans - so that you could get a peek behind-the-scenes where our instruments are handcrafted by artisans in Northern Germany.

The handworkers are a bit shy and only agreed to have their hands at work filmed and shared.

This video of the workshop is interspersed with beautiful scenes of the landscape near and around Pulow - the small neighborhood where feeltone's workshop is located.

This region is called Mecklenburg-Vorpommern and it located in the North of Germany, very close to the Baltic Sea. The neighboring landscape varies between open fields, breezy forests, lakes and streams.

Due to its northern location (not far from Denmark and Sweden) the quality of light is very special and the days are very long in the summer. Dusk occurs as late as 10:30 pm in the evening this time of year!

Not far you will also find the ocean with beaches dotted by the iconic "Strand Korber" - German Beach baskets you can sit in.

We invite you to watch this video with headphones and join us on this "Spatziergang" - which means a leisurely walk for relaxation.

The video features a soundtrack of feeltone instruments supporting the meditative stroll and we encourage you to listen with headphones or take 7 minutes to sit back in your chair and watch the scenes roll by before you.

The nature of this area inspires the instrument that you have in your hands. Every single instrument is made with love and handcrafted with care.
