What past participants have written about Joule's past trainings:
"I felt a strong pull to signed up for Joule's Sound Healing class and now I understand why. I think on a deep level my soul knew how healing it would be. Joule is an amazingly caring, fun and devoted teacher and she created a space of safety where we were all able to relax into the wonderful experience of playing with sound. I left every session buzzing with energy and with tools and exercises to continue the process at home in between classes. Joule guided us thru many different exercises and it was so liberating to make sounds that I have probably not made since childhood. The class opened my eyes to how detached we can become to sound as we get older and how healing bringing that back into our everyday lives can be. Being able to listen to Joule's beautiful hypnotic voice while she played the monochord was icing on the cake. I have already recommended her class to a couple of friends and hope to continue to learn with her in the future."

"I loved the meditations, and the experience of learning how to do that for myself with all the different ways that sound can be used. I enjoyed all the exercises you shared with us: giving expression to a part of our bodies that needs attention, and all the varied ways we can use sound that I’d never thought of before! I learned is how important sound is as a personal practice to keep our vibration high – to play, use my voice, and use the instrument, and the understanding our own voice is the most healing sound that we have! I’m inspired to use my voice more!"

"In a nutshell Joule created safe space – even though we’re all in completely different places. She comes off in an expert manner. There are slides, and there are times when we’re not looking at the slides when we're toning with our eyes closed – but then you can come back and it’s like oh, there’s a brightness – these visuals are great! We're invited to go deeper in ourselves, there’s no judgement. We're introduced to all these things, which doesn’t mean you need to use them all, but there’s the path and the way to explore. It was an introduction to so many techniques, like toning. There's also a piece about practice – that some things come naturally and that you like, but here are ways to work on those you don't; pushing the exploration so you’re not just in your comfort zone. Through that process you learn about what your comfort zone is."
