Hokema Kalimba B5 + B9 Duo Bundle | G-Major
Want more shimmer on top of the B9’s relaxing pattern? Pair a B9 Kalimba (the same tone block used on the Sansula) with the B5 Pocket Kalimba for an instant “twinkle” layer. Both instruments are tuned to G-Major at 432hz, so they blend effortlessly with your Koshi and Zaphir chimes.
- Sparkly “twinkle” highs from the B5 Kalimba
- Warm, grounding pattern from the B9 Pocket Kalimba (also fits Sansula)
- 432hz tuning for a natural, open blend with Koshi & Zaphir
- Play together for call-and-response or gentle drone + melody
- Compact, intuitive, no theory required — just follow your ears
How it Sounds
The B5 adds crystalline overtones that dance on top of the B9’s soothing motif — like starlight over a calm lake. Strike the B9 for the pulse, then answer with light B5 accents for that signature “twinkle.”
Mini How-To (3 Steps)
- Hold the B9 steady and play the center-out pattern as your base.
- Sprinkle single-note B5 tones between B9 beats.
- Add Koshi/Zaphir chimes to float above the mix — everything sits in tune at 432hz.
Don’t have Koshi or Zaphir Chimes? You can add them to the bundle.
