The B5 FIRE Kalimba from Hokema is a compact, portable “pocket kalimba” that produces high-pitched tones, adding a sparkling dimension to the sounds of the Koshi and Zaphir chimes.
Made in France, the Koshi Chimes are the inspiration behind our elemental sets and have become a beloved choice in sound baths. Whether you hold them in your hands, hang them from a stand, or let the wind play them outdoors, they offer a calming, resonant sound.
The Zaphir Chimes, also crafted in France, are similar to the Koshi but come in a variety of colors. We’ve selected the red Zaphir for its D-minor tuning, which includes a subtle dissonance with an Ab note that adds depth to the chord.
Both chimes feature a similar design, where a bead taps tones into metal dowels, guided by a wooden sail. Using both the Koshi and Zaphir chimes together creates a unique stereo effect, with each hand playing a slightly different tone, offering a rich and immersive listening experience.
