Monolina add on's : bridges and template
You can either order single bridges or the set of 5 bridges and one Template for the Monolina.
The Template can be used for all of the Monolina tunings : A, C, F, G and D
Use the bridges for major and minor pentatonic!
With the Monolina you have acquired more than just a monochord. Enriched with 5 bridges, you can tune melody strings and play them intuitively like on a dulcimer or a koto. The individual tones work together with the monotonous monochord like splashes of color.
With our template we give you the option of arranging the 5 bridges in a pen- tatonic major or minor scale.
The new folding strip on the template, which can be folded over on both sides, prevents it from sliding out while the tabs are being positioned.
The 5 bridges are placed under the string by briefly lifting the string and then inserting it into the notch of the brass pin in the bridge. First place the bridge in the middle of the instrument and then slide it into the position of the template.
For the individual tuning of your Monolina you will find a corresponding line on the template, on which the tones that need to be tuned on your Monolina strings are displayed.
The template is designed so that you can use the strings after changing the posi- tion of the bridges from for instance minor to major without retuning the strings.
You can also be free and set up completely new tunings, or simply leave out the bridges entirely. You can also order additional bridges from feeltone to tune in a diatonic.
